A molecular Study of the Microsporum Canis and Trichophyton Mentagrophytes Associated Fungal Infection: Athlete’s Foot among Farmers

چکیده

Athlete’s foot (Tinea pedis) and toe nails infection (onychomycosis) are disease conditions caused by dermatophytes; both diseases prevalent in adults, especially farmers who often wear robber shoes during farming. Proper treatment of dermatophytes related skin needs a proper understanding susceptibility the causative agents to intended option. This knowledge can only be derived from identification characterization fungi. In present study, traditional molecular approaches were applied on cultured samples for detection Tinea pedis. From PCR analysis, Microsporum canis Trichophyton mentagrophytes identified as two commonest species implicated pedis basing their DNA banding patterns. fifty dermatophyte isolates via conventional methods, 45 confirmed approach, with 25 isolated being M. while 20 T. mentagrophytes. The same was real time quantification.

Overview: The fungal skin disease dermatophytosis has come to be called ringworm because of the appearance of the skin lesion that characteristically occurs with this disorder: a circular area of hair loss with a red, raised outer rim. These lesions result from an inflammatory reaction to the fungus. Most often, dogs and cats are infected by the Microsporum canis fungus, but other types of fung...

Evaluation of Antifungal Effect of Silver Nanoparticles Against Microsporum canis, Trichophyton mentagrophytes and Microsporum gypseum

Background : Dermatophytosis is the common cutaneous infections in humans and animals, which is caused by the keratinophylic fungus called dermatophytes. In recent years , drug-resistance in pathogenic fungi, including dermatophytes to the current antifungal have been increased . The aim of this study was to evaluate the antifungal efficacy of AgNPs against Microsporum canis, Trichophyton menta...

The use of a one-step PCR method for the identification of Microsporum canis and Trichophyton mentagrophytes infection of pets.

INTRODUCTION Dermatophytes are a closely related group of keratinophilic fungi. They encompass important etiological agents of superficial fungal infections. These fungi are able to invade keratinized tissues of humans and animals, causing dermatophytosis (ringworm) of hair, nails or skin. THE AIM Traditional diagnostics of ringworm is based on morphological identification of cultured fungi a...

Extracellular Production of Silver Nanoparticles by Using Three Common Species of Dermatophytes: Trichophyton rubrum, Trichophyton mentagrophytes and Microsporum canis

Background: To develop a new green approach for biosynthesis of silver nanoparticles, myconanotechnology has been represented as a novel field of study in nanotechnology. In this study, we have reported the extracellular synthesis of highly stable silver nanoparticles using three species of dermatophytes: Trichophyton rubrum, Trichophyton mentagrophytes and Microsporum canis. Methods: Clinical ...
